There is an aerodrome in Redhill, literally just round the corner. It’s ace, not that I can fly, though I’m seriously considering it. In the aerodrome, close enough to watch the planes come in and out is the newly opened ‘Pilot’s Hub’ café.
Yummy, scrummy food. We were there at brunch time and went for gammon eggs and chips, at very reasonable prices. Now with halfterm coming up we reckon this place will be a real winner with families.
You can sit and eat cake (we had a selection my favourite was the ginger cake though the courgette one definitely won out on uniqueness) drink coffee and the kids will be entertained watching a whole variety of planes come in and out.
You have to visit! Put it on the school hols list eh 🙂
